As the son of a farmer, I learned to appreciate the pleasure of eating meals served with the freshest ingredients. So when I envisioned the menu for ZIN, I knew I had to use the freshest and the best quality meats and produce available. What better place to achieve this than agriculturally-rich Sonoma County. I wanted to make ZIN a Wine Country restaurant that would focus on American cuisine with a fresh approach on classic dishes and a comforting home cooked appeal. It has been my pleasure to have worked with, and learned from many of the great chefs in Northern California. I am very fortunate to have been able to study the varied culinary disciplines these chefs had to offer I think because of this I was better able to develop my own vision of American home cooking. It is also my belief and my hope that my love and respect of these regional dishes is reflexed in our menu and your dinning experiences.
