As the son of a farmer, I learned to appreciate the pleasure of eating meals prepared with the freshest produce available. When I envisioned the menu for Zin, I knew I had to seek out the very best our local growers and farmers markets could provide. This eventually led me to plant our own garden to supply the restaurant. Sonoma County is one of the best places in the world to grow a variety of produce. From late spring through late fall we grow our own beans, squash, peppers, herbs and 20 varieties of heirloom tomatoes. Our fruit trees and berry bushes provide us with apples, peaches, pears, plums, nectarines, strawberries and blackberries.
The Zingarden takes a lot of work and patience, but the results speak for themselves.
